What does diversity mean to you?

It means allowing things to change for the better.

If there’s one thing you could change in the fashion industry what would it be?

There needs to be more of a focus on re-using materials and putting re-purposed clothing and accessories in the public eye and on sale in high-street clothing shops.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I don’t really know. I couldn’t have predicted that I would be where I am now five years ago. I’d quite like to be happy and doing something that I’m good at with people I like.

What’s the craziest thing about you?

My allergy to pollen.

What is your hidden talent?

I can lick my elbow, does that count as a talent or is that more of a skill? I also write plays and music but to be honest with you I’ve been showing them to people for years so they’re not really hidden. I’d say the elbow thing would probably be my number one hidden talent.

If you could spend a day with any super model in the world, who would it be and why?

Clara Delevingne is in Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets which is one of the strangest films I’ve seen recently so it would be great to learn more about that. Karlie Kloss is around my height and it would be lovely to have a conversation where I'm not looking down all the time. I’m also sure Naomi Campbell also has some interesting stories so I don’t know… One of those three probably.

What do you love most about yourself?

I love my hair, my eyes, my height, my curiosity, my friendship with Deng Maohui, my voice, my face, my awesome dancing skills.

What does Beauty mean to you?

I once saw this video of an amateur choir singing Handel’s Messiah and it was both completely terrible and incredibly beautiful. For me beautiful things aim for perfection, fall short and end up in this other incredibly unique place.
